The American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is one of the largest American Chambers outside the US, the largest international chamber in Hong Kong and the most dynamic and influential international business organization in the Asia-Pacific region. It has over 20 active committees, holds over 400 programs per year, comprises of 2,000 members of more than 30 nationalities, and includes both large multinational corporations as well as small- and medium-size enterprises. AmCham’s goal is to foster commerce among the United States of America, Hong Kong and mainland China, and help enhance Hong Kong’s position as an international business center.
Sending out multiple newsletters and EDM’s every week to a subscriber database of over 5,000 contacts, AmCham approached me about completely redesigning and standardizing their numerous EDM templates. With most of their database comprising of 40+ men in senior management positions, the design direction was obvious—business-oriented, professional, slick and informative. Furthemore, the templates also needed to comply with their existing branding and aim at increasing user engagement via web and mobile.
The result was a set of EDM templates, fully responsive for a comfortable mobile experience, optimized for consistent display over a large variety of email clients/hardware platforms, and prepared in a way that allowed easy import into AmCham’s EDM system.
Great project and a fantastic client that I am truly proud of having worked with.
