Oliver Hemming is an award winning British designer who studied design and silversmithing at Art School in England. For more than 30 years he has designed, made and distributed his designs all over the world, working with the best design stores and retailers.

His designs have ranged from bespoke silver table top items to tea and coffee ware in stainless steel, such as his iconic ‘nio’ collection as well as electrical appliances such as kettles and toasters. Now based in Hong Kong, he focuses on designing and manufacturing beautiful alarm clocks and wall clocks at his own new factory in China.

I inherited Oliver’s custom-built online shop from his previous developer and assisted him with a number of customization requests and new features. Since then, we migrated Oliver’s site to WordPress and WooCommerce, using a customized commercial theme to keep the development costs to minimum. Sleek, subtle and minimalist, the shop is responsive and optimized for mobile, and features close to 400 products.
